Event Details
This year I decided that it would be a lot of fun to have a party for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics in London. After a lot of thought I decided on cooking mostly British inspired dishes and desserts. In addition to watching the games, I decided we would use commercial breaks to have a mini Olympics of our own.

The Games
For the games we split into 2 teams. One team wore flag bandannas and the other red ones. We played three different games: Beer Pong, Flip Cup, & Quarters. For the winners I got small bottles of Goldschlager and tied them to ribbons to make “gold medals”.
