Last week my friends down the street were having a pot luck and I was tasked with bringing dessert. I was short on time so I decided to fall back on one of my favorite desserts…brownie cheesecakes. The recipe is one from Kraft and uses a box of brownies (I always use Ghirardelli) and a simple cheesecake recipe. It takes about 10 minutes of prep and then a little over an hour of baking. I put the whole tray in the fridge and then cut them the next day. The last step is to add a little chocolate drizzle by melting some bakers squares and either using a Wilton chocolate melting bag or a fork to drizzle on the brownies.
They tasted great and looked good enough that my neighbors thought they were store-bought!
