For Mother’s Day this year, I decided to try something new. After spending some time searching the web for the perfect Mother’s Day baked good, I decided to go with French Macarons. Instead of just trying out one, I decided to be an overachiever and make three different kinds: lemon, chocolate hazelnut, & red velvet.
They all turned out great, but I think lemon were my favorite.
Both my mom & mommom loved them though. And I will definitely be making them more often & in other flavors in the future.
For Mother’s Day this year, I thought I’d combine some of my mom’s favorite desserts red velvet cake and cheesecake.
I made them using my individual cheesecake pans. After they were cool, I covered them in cream cheese frosting and topped them purple & pink buttercream roses. They turned out great and definitely looked like a Mother’s day treat.
