For Mother’s Day this year, I thought I’d combine some of my mom’s favorite desserts red velvet cake and cheesecake.
I made them using my individual cheesecake pans. After they were cool, I covered them in cream cheese frosting and topped them purple & pink buttercream roses. They turned out great and definitely looked like a Mother’s day treat.
This year I decided to try making red velvet cupcakes to take to work for Valentine’s Day. I iced them with cream cheese frosting using my Wilton Dessert Decorator Pro.
To finish them off, I topped each cupcake with a chocolate heart pic. I made the hearts using a Wilton candy mold with red, pink, and dark chocolate candy melts.
They turned out great!
